The Journal of International Buddhist Studies is an open-access journal. We publish research articles, academic articles, special issues (special focus sections), and book reviews. All the articles published are peer-reviewed by at least two experts via the double-blinded review system.

Aims and Scope: To promote and distribute knowledge in the areas of Buddhist Scriptures, and dhamma teachings to situations of social, political, educational, environmental, economic and mental development.

JIBS joins the TCI-Scopus phase 3 project

  

Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center has selected Journal of International Buddhist Studies (JIBS) among the 40 journals to participate in the project to improve the quality of Thai journals for the Scopus database 2023-2025, or according to objectives as follows: 1. To improve the quality of Thai academic journals and encourage them the Scopus database. 2. To develop the quality of Thai academic journal’s editorial staff to meet the international standards. The project was initiated by a meeting to clarify the working guidelines for the editors of all the 40 journals who joined the project on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort.
